She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run and two  RBI. Those  two  RBI gave  her a new career-high.

 McCutcheon  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lafayette Central Catholic only managed three  hits.
McCutcheon's record now sits at 10-11. As for Lafayette Central Catholic,  they are  on  a  15-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-18.
 Coming up, McCutcheon will head out on the road to  take on  Fishers  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Mavericks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7  runs per game this season. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they will host Harrison  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
