The Jay Royals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season. They really took it to Northview for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-15 win on the road. That 59-15 margin sets a new team best for Jay this season.
Jay can attribute much of their success to Darcy Locklin, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Locklin. Another player making a difference was Carleigh Baker, who scored seven points.
Jay's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Northview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jay will take on Pace at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pace will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Northview, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Elberta at 4:00 p.m. on December 14th. Elberta is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
