East Davidson won the last time they faced Trinity and things went their way on Wednesday too. The East Davidson Golden Eagles walked away with a 48-38 victory over the Trinity Bulldogs.

Despite the loss, Trinity saw an underclassman step up: freshman Madison Hill went 9 of 19 en route to 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. Ava Nance was another key player, putting up five points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

East Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-14 record this season. As for Trinity, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-14.

East Davidson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-34 win against South Davidson on the 7th. As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to square off against Eastern Randolph at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
