WestSide's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Austin Bishop, who scored 17 points along with three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bishop has scored at least 25% of WestSide's points. Coltin Lester was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
WestSide's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.33 points. As for Mingo Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
WestSide and Wayne will round out the year against one another at 7:40 p.m. on Friday at. Wayne is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. Mingo Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tolsia at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
