After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Piedmont, Hercules was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Emery Spartans 18-6. Considering the Titans have won eight matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Jazabellaa Cabrera was excellent, getting on base in three of her six plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaida Flores, who went 2-for-5 with one home run.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Hercules lost a few balls and finished the game with five home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.
Hercules is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7-1 record this season. As for Emery, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hercules will welcome Swett at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests. As for Emery, they will be playing at home against De Anza at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
