After only 12 points in their last game, General Trass made sure to put some points up on the board against Madison on Friday. Everything went General Trass' way against Madison as General Trass made off with a 40-16 win.
General Trass' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kameron Williams, who rushed for 302 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 16.8 yards per carry. Williams was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Anton Davis and his 118 yards on the ground were also a key factor in General Trass' win.
Another reason for the win was General Trass' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Williams was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
Meanwhile, Arcadia humbled Plain Dealing with a 62-22 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Arcadia.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arcadia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryheem Abney, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Bratreviauntae Ferrell, who rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
General Trass has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Arcadia, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
