They beat the Saints by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-3. The Bengals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.
Erin Lee made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mihaly Blake, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season. Cameron McClurg was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Tamarac hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Saratoga Central Catholic struck out seven times.
Tamarac's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average this season. As for Emma Willard, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
