 Marianapolis Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Luke Beyers, who  went 1-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI. That  double marked the first that  Beyers has  hit this season.  Owen Richardson was another,  getting on base  in both of his plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Marianapolis Prep has  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record  this season. As for Greens Farms Academy, their win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-9.
