The Caldwell Bluejays scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took down Norwich 53-39. That 53-39 margin sets a new team best for Caldwell this season.
Jackson Risley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points along with five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Risley has scored at least 25% of Caldwell's points. Miles Newell was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
The win got Caldwell back to even at 2-2. As for Norwich, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caldwell will square off against Conway Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norwich and Udall will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Udall focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
