Bible Baptist Christian stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They breezed by Crossroads Christian Academy at home to the tune of 95-29. Bible Baptist Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Bible Baptist Christian found their leader in underclassman Alano Doreste, who dropped a triple-double on 33 points, ten rebounds, and 15 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Doreste has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Forbes, who scored 21 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Faith Baptist Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Brunswick Christian Academy on Monday, taking the game 63-54. The win was just what Faith Baptist Christian Academy needed coming off of a 83-62 loss in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for RJ Legette, who scored 23 points along with eight assists and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games he's played. Aidan Massey was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Bible Baptist Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Faith Baptist Christian Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-10.
