 Chesterton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Lindsi Mcguffey, who  went 6 for 11 en route to 16 points.  Isabelle Connors was another key player,  posting ten points along with two  steals.
 Rensselaer Central's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Carly Drone, who  scored 12 points plus six  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kamri Rowland, who  scored ten points plus five  rebounds and five  steals.
 Chesterton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Rensselaer Central, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Chesterton will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Michigan City  at 7:00  p.m. Chesterton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6  points per game  this season. As for Rensselaer Central, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Benton Central  at 8:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
