Dunellen posted their closest win yet this season on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged Piscataway Vo-Tech out 41-38.
Dunellen relied on the efforts of Vibert Reynolds, who scored 12 points, and Ryan Hutchins, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Hutchins hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jamael Davis, who scored five points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, East Brunswick Vo-Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell 65-56 to South Amboy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Dunellen has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for East Brunswick Vo-Tech, they have fallen quite a ways from their 3-0 record last season and are now at 1-11.
