Shelby extended their postseason success on Friday against Owen. They blew past the Owen Warhorses 95-65. The Golden Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Owen's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jack Wesley Burk, who shot 56% from the field en route to 22 points and five rebounds, and Asante Martin, who posted 16 points. Martin's big performance that evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Warnock, who earned seven points and 11 boards.

The victory (which was Shelby's 11th in a row) raised their record to 20-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points over those games. As for Owen, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7.

Looking ahead, Shelby will face off against Bandys on Tuesday. One thing working in Bandys' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. Owen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
