This season hasn't been kind to the Ragland Purple Devils, who are still winless after their 17th matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 63-15 loss at the hands of Victory Christian. Ragland was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-4.
Leading Victory Christian to victory were Amelia Haney and Haley Hendrix. Haney dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 steals, while Hendrix dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Hendrix hasn't dropped below 15points for 17 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Lee, who scored seven points along with five assists and four steals.
Ragland bumped their record down to 0-17 with that loss, which was their 11th straight at home. As for Victory Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.
Ragland will head out on the road to challenge Jefferson Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Victory Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Appalachian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
