Randolph added to the longest winning streak in Section 6 D this week by beating Dunkirk, 42-16. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Cardinals.
Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake took down Cameron County 35-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ryan Miller ran for 117 yards during the win.
Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kyle Mayer threw for 38 yards and Jonah Tanner had 35 yards receiving. On the ground Miller contributed 117 yards.
Miller provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Curt Fischer's team bested the Raiders. Miller's favorite target this week was Tanner, who caught 2 passes for 35 yards.
Tanner was the best receiver in the league this week as Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake beat Cameron County.
Mayer has thrown for 325 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Tanner has 5 catches for 122 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ellicottville/West Valley Central takes on Randolph. At the moment, the Eagles are in fourth, while Brent Brown's team is in first.
Ellicottville/West Valley Central made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,529 from 9,875. The improvement was largely due to a 30-8 victory over Cassadaga Valley last week.
