South Wasco County won the last time they met up with Huntington, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. South Wasco County took the game and then some with a 73-12 win on Friday over Huntington. Followers of South Wasco County probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
The victory bumped South Wasco County's record up to 5-0. The loss dropped Huntington's record to 1-4.
Next week South Wasco County take on Joseph at 6:00 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as South Wasco County skips in on five wins and Joseph on four. Huntington will take on Prairie City at home at 1:00 PM. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Huntington and five for Prairie City.
