There were no changes in the top eight spots for the MaxPreps Sac-Joaquin Section rankings, but there could be this week.

Result: Idle. The Bulldogs have dominated with defense, line play, passing and an unsung running game.

League: Delta
Result: Beat previous No. 14 Monterey Trail 54-29 as Deshawn Collins rushed for 233 yards and five touchdowns. Chris Atteberry had 16 tackles.

3. Rocklin (3) 7-0
League: Sierra Foothill
Result: Beat previous No. 20 Woodcreek 35-7 as Dustin Howenstine returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown and new QB William Floyd tossed two touchdowns as he assumes command of the team in light of the season-ending injury to Max O'Rourke.

4. Jesuit (Carmichael) (4) 6-1
League: Delta
Result: Beat Sheldon (Sacramento) 56-13 as Beau Bisharat ran for three touchdowns and Cole Brownholtz accounted for three scores. An earlier win was 42-38 over No. 5 Elk Grove. The loss was to De La Salle in an opener.

5. Elk Grove (5) 5-2
League: Delta
Result: Beat Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove) 42-7 as Eltoro Allen ran for 141 yards and a touchdown, Spencer Sheff went for 95 and two scores and Manny Scott-Anderson chugged for a score. The losses were to No. 2 Grant 26-19 and No. 4 Jesuit 42-38.

6. St. Mary's (Stockton) (6) 6-1
League: Tri-City
Result: Beat Tokay (Lodi) 32-0 as Noah Righetti passed fro 243 yards and four touchdowns, including a 21-play scoring drive capped by a TD toss to Keaton Hampton. The loss was in double overtime to NorCal ranked St. Ignatius (San Francisco), 27-24, on a field goal after missing one from 35 yards out on the final play of regulation.

7. Vacaville (10) 5-1
League: Monticello Empire
Result: Beat Armijo (Fairfield) 52-13 as Damonte Moore ran for 143 yards and three touchdowns. The loss was to then No. 6 Oak Ridge 24-23.

8. Sierra (Manteca) (8) 7-0
League: Valley Oak
Result: The Modesto Bee's top-ranked team beat previous No. 9 Oakdale 31-20 for just the second time in 19 varsity seasons with two late stops inside the 8-yard line. Mark Paule Jr. rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns for a 21-0 lead.

League: Central California
Result: Beat previous No. 19 Pitman (Turlock) 47-6, pouncing on three early fumbles and dominating behind QB Tyrone Williams. The losses were to Fresno powers Edison and Clovis West.

10. Oakdale (9) 6-1
League: Valley Oak
Result: Lost to No. 8 Sierra 31-20 in getting stopped twice inside the 10. Frankie Trent rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns.

11. Inderkum (Sacramento) (11) 7-1
League: Tri-County
Result: Beat River Valley (Yuba City) 30-12 as Austin Thurman, Larry Hardy and Jonathan Henry led the way in a battle for first place. The loss was to No. 15 Monterey Trail when a last-play field goal missed.

12. Granite Bay (12) 5-2
League: Sierra Foothill
Result: Beat Nevada Union (Grass Valley) 38-0 as Mike Gemulla ran for 85 yards and two touchdowns and Ben Smith plowed in for a score. Cameron Smith returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown. The losses were to No. 1 Folsom and No. 7 Vacaville.

13. Franklin (Elk Grove) (13) 5-2
League: Delta
Result: Beat Davis 49-13 as Jacob Lopez passed for 158 yards and a touchdown to Brandon Johnson, and Kaderro Tamondong ran for 63 yards and two touchdowns. Patrick Walker and Bryce Abshear had defensive touchdowns. The losses were to No. 2 Grant and to NorCal-ranked Bellarmine (San Jose) with an earlier 30-8 win over No. 15 Monterey
Trail.

14. Del Oro (Loomis) (15) 3-5
League: Sierra Foothill
Result: Beat previous No. 16 Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) 35-14 as Logan Hurst passed for four touchdowns, three to Trey Udoffia, and ran for one in his finest effort of the season. Brother Mason Hurst had two interceptions. Other losses were to No. 1 Folsom, No. 3 Rocklin, NorCal No. 1 De La Salle and powers from Hawaii and San Diego.

15. Monterey Trail (Elk Grove) (14) 5-2
League: Delta
Result: Lost to No. 2 Grant 54-29 after leading 15-14 at the half. Trey Nahhas tossed a 48-yard touchdown to Jermaine Bell and ran for 272 yards. The other loss was to No. 13 Franklin.

16. Central Catholic (Modesto) (17) 5-2
League: Valley Oak
Result: Beat Weston Ranch (Stockton) 42-0 as Hunter Petlansky passed for three touchdowns and Justin Rice rushed for 121 yards and two scores. The losses were to No. 8 Sierra 17-14 and to No. 6 St. Mary's on a late play.

Result: Beat Valley (Sacramento) 59-0 as Caden Voges passed for 422 yards and six touchdowns and Lonny Powell had five sacks, giving him 18.5 for the season. The loss was at No. 3 Rocklin.

Result: Beat Enochs (Modesto) 40-14 as Paul Wilson passed for three touchdowns and ran for two.

Result: Beat Woodland 70-13 as Marcel Brown rushed for 193 yards and four touchdowns and caught a TD. Zak Burden accounted for four scores and Hunter Clark had 2.5 sacks. The loss was to River Valley (Yuba City).

Result: Beat Kimball (Tracy) 55-7 as Dakarai Charles accounted for four touchdowns in building a 42-0 halftime lead. The losses were to No. 10 Oakdale and 29-28 to No. 16 Central Catholic.

League: Modesto Metro
Result: Beat previous No. 24 Gregori (Modesto) 42-7 as Antonio Perez ran for 75 yards and two touchdowns and Fernando Rocha returned an interception for a score. The loss was 35-32 to No. 18 Downey.

22. Napa (25) 5-2
League: Monticello Empire
Result: Beat Wood (Vacaville) 46-20 as Mac Neilson ran for 195 yards and two touchdowns for the program's third consecutive victory. Cal Bard scored twice for the Indians.

23. Tracy (NR) 5-2
League: Tri-City Athletic
Result: Beat Lodi 35-21 as Jacob Alvarado rushed for two touchdowns and Michael Brown ran for 119 yards and a score. The losses were to Bay Area powers early in Freedom (Oakley) 14-6 and Clayton Valley Charter (Concord) 14-7.

24. Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) (16) 4-4
