Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Pinkston blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 56-18 final score. The win was just what Pinkston needed coming off of a 64-40 loss in their prior game.
Pinkston's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaliyah Spencer, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cenaya Calhoun- jingles, who scored 14 points along with eight assists and five steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Wilmer-Hutchins gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 53-13 win over North Dallas on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wilmer-Hutchins.
Pinkston's victory bumped their record up to 9-23. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.
Everything went Pinkston's way against the Eagles in their previous meeting back in January as the Vikings made off with a 59-37 victory. Will Pinkston repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
