Last Wednesday, Boca Raton humbled Lakewood with a 74-44 victory. The win was just what Boca Raton needed coming off of a 68-40 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Seffner Christian faced Bolles in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Seffner Christian came out on top against Bolles by a score of 53-42 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Seffner Christian.
Boca Raton's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Seffner Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
Boca Raton took their win against Seffner Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2017 by a conclusive 66-42. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Seffner Christian's Brylee Bartram, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds.
