After each having a week off, the Concord Minutemen and the Fort Wayne North Side Legends will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Concord is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Last Friday, Concord humbled Plymouth with a 42-14 victory. The Minutemen's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Concord's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Char'Rese Breveard led the charge by rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown. Breveard really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run. Jaron Thomas was in the mix too, providing Concord with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne North Side lost to Carroll at home by a 38-22 margin last Friday. The Legends haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristen Newsome, who threw for 217 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes.
Concord pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fort Wayne North Side, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
