The Trinity Leadership Tigers will be home for the holidays to greet the Village Tech Viper Squid at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Trinity Leadership has three straight wins, Village Tech has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Wednesday, Trinity Leadership didn't even let Gateway Charter Academy onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Trinity Leadership has scored all year.
Village Tech kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by Life Oak Cliff 42-13.
Trinity Leadership's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Village Tech, their loss was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1.
Trinity Leadership skirted past Village Tech 2-0 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Trinity Leadership repeat their success, or does Village Tech have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
