Exeter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Jefferson Independent Day, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Everything came up roses for Jefferson Independent Day against Exeter in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 75-26 victory. In that matchup, Jefferson Independent Day amassed a halftime lead of 48-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
