After a string of three wins, Lometa's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Llano an easy 40-20 win. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lometa has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Paint Rock had to suffer through a rough 74-21 loss at the hands of Menard. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Paint Rock in their matchups with Menard: they've now lost six in a row.
Lometa's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Paint Rock, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
