The Meadow Bridge Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Sherman Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Meadow Bridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Meadow Bridge scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They blew past Man 67-46. Meadow Bridge pushed the score to 59-27 by the end of the third, a deficit Man cut but never quite recovered from.
Kierston Rozell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Charity Reichard, who scored ten points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sherman's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. They lost to Independence at home by a decisive 47-28 margin.
The win made it two in a row for Meadow Bridge and bumps their season record up to 11-8. As for Sherman, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
Meadow Bridge strolled past Sherman in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 56-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Meadow Bridge since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
