 Saint James' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Xavier Colbert led the charge by  going 9 of 13  en route to 18  points and six  rebounds. Those 18 points gave  Colbert a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayden Yates, who  went 7 for 11  on his way to 16  points and three  steals.
Catoctin's loss was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Saint James, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.
 Catoctin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  an  85-48  defeat against Williamsport on the 7th. As for Saint James, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  an  80-59  loss against St. Andrew's Episcopal on the 7th.
