With a playoff win on the line, Kouts rose to the challenge  on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Washington Township Senators  a   5-0 shutout. The  victory continues a trend for the Mustangs & Fillies in their matchups with the Senators: they've now won seven in a row.
The result came thanks to  Landon Garrett's shutout, as he gave up just seven  hits and racked up six Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Ben Finney was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Billy Miller, who  went 1-for-2 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
