It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for LaBelle, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.
They hit Aubrey Rogers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
ELVIS MEDINA (3),
JAE-P CASIANO, and
FERLANDY MONTEJO.
LaBelle's win bumped their record up to 13-7-2. As for Aubrey Rogers, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-4 record this season.
LaBelle will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against McKeel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. McKeel Academy will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something LaBelle surely won't give up without a fight. Aubrey Rogers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
