El Rancho is returning to their home court after beating San Gabriel on theirs, despite the fact San Gabriel has dominated at home this season. El Rancho skirted past San Gabriel 44-42.

Adam Rivas was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Alex Marquez, who posted five points.
El Rancho smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2023.
Meanwhile, The Webb Schools came up short against Azusa on Tuesday, falling 62-40. The game marked the Gauls' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Despite the loss, The Webb Schools saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ethan Hao went 8 of 12 on his way to 25 points. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for Hao.
El Rancho has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points per game. As for The Webb Schools, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: El Rancho has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 21.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like The Webb Schools struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
