Coastal Christian Prep (2-4) and Beaufort Academy (3-5) take on one another this Friday on Coastal Christian Prep's home turf. With the two teams stumbling in off of losses, both Beaufort Academy and Coastal Christian Prep will be hungry for the win.
Coastal Christian Prep suffered a painful 53 - 26 defeat to Clarendon Hall last week. The loss came about despite a quality game from senior Robert Crates, who threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns. Crates has been a consistent playmaker for Coastal Christian Prep as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Beaufort Academy lost to Andrew Jackson Academy by a decisive 36 - 16 scoreline last week. Andrew Jackson Academy was expected to win (it is ranked 2nd in the state, 12 places ahead of Beaufort Academy), but it was still a bitter blow.
The last time they met, Coastal Christian Prep walked away with a 52 - 43 victory. It had a lot of yards that game (500) and will likely be setting its aim high again. Will it come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
