Fremont and West Noble played the most hotly contested game in Northeast Corner this week, with Fremont eventually emerging with a 27-26 victory.
Prairie Heights' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kyler West has thrown for 144 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Joey Barry has four catches for 55 yards. Bobbi Blum leads the league in rushing with 1105 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Prairie Heights takes on Fairfield. At the moment, the Panthers are in sixth, while the Falcons are in third.
Churubusco made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,129 from 5,150. The advance stemmed from a 38-16 victory over Lakeland last week.
