After flying high against Lotus School For Excellence  last Saturday, Moffat County came back down to earth. The Moffat County Bulldogs took a hard  69-50 fall against the Palisade Bulldogs on Thursday. Moffat County lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Kenyen Camilletti, who  posted 22  points and six  rebounds.  Jr Welch was another key player,  going 5 for 9  on his way to 12  points in addition to five  assists and three  steals.

 Even though they lost, Moffat County  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in nine consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
Moffat County's defeat was  their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-2. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Palisade, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record  this season.
 Moffat County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  76-45  loss against Montezuma-Cortez on the 20th. As for Palisade, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  57-54  victory against Palmer Ridge on the 20th.
