Cherry Creek had won ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Friday they bumped up to 10-0 to make it 11. They claimed a resounding  52-15 victory over the Grandview Wolves. Considering the Bruins have won nine matchups by more than 22  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
Cherry Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Brady Vodicka, who threw for 290 yards and four  TDs. Those  290  passing yards gave  Vodicka a new career-high. Another back making a difference was  Jayden Fox, who gained 99 total yards and two touchdowns.
 Cherry Creek didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Jake Kim and  Tate Matthews. Kim got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
As for Grandview, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. They have struggled against Cherry Creek recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
 Despite the  loss, Grandview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Timothy Arnold III picked up 134 receiving yards and one  touchdown. Those 134  receiving yards set a new season-high mark for  Arnold III.  Blitz McCarty was another key player, having thrown for 290 yards and onetouchdown.
 Cherry Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grandview, they will face off against Chatfield at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
