Volleyball Recap: Century Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Century, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Meridian Bobcats by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on October 1st.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Century took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15.

Century is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-17 record this season. As for Meridian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-17.

Century and Meridian are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Centurions will challenge Hardin County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Meridian, they will square off against Sparta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
