The Carrollton Hawks will be playing at home against the Lincolnwood Lancers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Carrollton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Carrollton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They really took it to North Greene for the full four quarters, racking up a 83-22 victory on the road. Carrollton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.
Carrollton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harper Darr, who scored 26 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Darr has scored all season. Lauren Flowers was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, Lincolnwood's game last Monday was all tied up 16-16 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 39-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Mac. Lincolnwood has not had much luck with North Mac recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Carrollton has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Lincolnwood, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Carrollton against Lincolnwood in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 66-29 win. Does Carrollton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lincolnwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
