After having lost a blowout in their previous game against The First Academy, the Lake Gibson Braves were happy to have found some success on Friday. They secured a 64-58 W over Ridge Community. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Lake Gibson was led to victory by Adarrion Willis and Trey Rodman. Willis scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds, while Rodman scored 19 points. Jaylen Evans was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Lake Gibson's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Ridge Community, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Lake Gibson will head out on the road to face off against Avon Park at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ridge Community, they will be playing at home against Wekiva at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
