Edgewood and Northview are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Edgewood Mustangs will stay at home for another game and welcome the Northview Knights at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Saturday, Edgewood came up short against Orleans and fell 46-36. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Edgewood has scored all season.
Edgewood's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jacob Boggs, who scored nine points along with two blocks, and Carson Huttenlocker who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Northview pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 61-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cascade.
Edgewood now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Northview, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11.
Edgewood didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Northview in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 66-60 victory. Will Edgewood repeat their success, or does Northview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
