Valley took their matchup at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 62-19 win over Tulia. The result was nothing new for Valley, who have now won eight matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.
Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trinity Schlueter out in front who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Schlueter is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Anna Ferrel was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Valley's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Tulia, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Valley will square off against Seymour at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Tulia, they will head out on the road to face off against Sunray at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
