The victory made it two in a row for Coahoma and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Kermit, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything went Coahoma's way against Kermit in their previous matchup back in September of 2023 as Coahoma made off with a 57-31 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coahoma since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
