Sheridan Hills Christian found their leader in underclassman Elizabeth Spee, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Lily Carrington was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Sheridan Hills Christian's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Dade Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Sheridan Hills Christian will be playing at home against Don Soffer Aventura at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Don Soffer Aventura comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Dade Christian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Academy for Innovative Education at 4:00 p.m. on December 12th.
