On Sunday, Shawnee beat the 58-48. Given Shawnee's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the are ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Doane Academy still got an impressive performance from Nick Fusco, who scored 22 points. Fusco hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games. Shane Bobroski was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Shawnee has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Doane Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Shawnee will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Quakers at 6:00 p.m. Moorestown is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Doane Academy, they will challenge the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Medford Tech's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
