The Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins but they left with five. They came out on top against Rhodes by a score of 73-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Villa Angela-St. Joseph to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sean Shenker, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Brown, who scored 16 points.
Villa Angela-St. Joseph has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Rhodes, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

As for Rhodes, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Garrett Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
