This season hasn't been kind to the Jackson Hole Broncs, who are still winless after their sixth game. They were outmatched by Star Valley on the road and fell 72-7. Jackson Hole lost against Star Valley in their previous head to head back in March of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-9 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Star Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenlee Engelhardt, who scored 17 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Engelhardt is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Sheridan Coles was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Jackson Hole's defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Star Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson Hole will take on Teton on Wednesday. Teton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jackson Hole in their respective states (Teton is ranked sixth in Idaho, while Jackson Hole is ranked 43rd in Wyoming). As for Star Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Preston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
