The Colonial Forge Eagles won the last time they faced the Brooke Point Black Hawks, and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went Colonial Forge's way against Brooke Point as Colonial Forge made off with a 35-14 victory. The result was nothing new for Colonial Forge, who have now won six matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Colonial Forge can attribute much of their success to Jaevyen Peterson, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Peterson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. Josiah Bryson was in the mix as well, providing Colonial Forge with two touchdowns.
Colonial Forge's win was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. As for Brooke Point, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Colonial Forge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Brooke Point, they will head out on the road to face off against Riverbend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
