Almira-Coulee-Hartline took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lake Roosevelt. Almira-Coulee-Hartline has not had much luck with Lake Roosevelt recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Almira-Coulee-Hartline lost, one person who can't be blamed is Beth Okamoto. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Whitaker, who scored 8 points.
Almira-Coulee-Hartline's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lake Roosevelt, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Almira-Coulee-Hartline will square off against Entiat at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Roosevelt will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Okanogan at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
