After losing to the Centennial Stars the last time they met, the Horizon Science Academy Hawks decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Horizon Science Academy blew past Centennial 71-47.
Horizon Science Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Solaiman Jalloh led the charge by scoring 17 points along with six assists. The contest was Jalloh's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khiryn Mcneal, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
Horizon Science Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Centennial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Horizon Science Academy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Columbus Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. Columbus Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Centennial won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Columbus International at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th.
