Ellsworth can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent as they made off with a 20-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Ellsworth got a massive performance out of Karli Gutting, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. The dominant performance also gave Gutting a new career-high in RBI (five). Delaney Johnson was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Ellsworth's win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Ellsworth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Osceola on the 5th. Varsity Opponent has also already played their next game (against South Bronx Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
