Churchill County waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Pyramid Lake Lakers 67-48. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-64 back in December of 2024.

Churchill County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Calin Anderson out in front who posted 12 points along with seven boards and three steals. Caleb Edgmon was another key player, going 5 of 12 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds.

Despite the loss, Pyramid Lake still got an impressive performance from Cash Hall, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. Hall is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Zeke Davis, who put up 13 points and six rebounds.

Churchill County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Pyramid Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Churchill County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-50 loss against Dayton on the 27th. As for Pyramid Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 93-31 defeat against Hug on the 27th.
