The Dallas Christian Chargers's 22-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They lost to Richardson on the road by a decisive 52-36 margin on Friday. Dallas Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Megan Greer, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds. Greer scored a full 36.1% of Dallas Christian's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Macie Perkins, who scored 5 points along with 4 blocks.
Dallas Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Richardson, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dallas Christian will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Spruce at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. As for Richardson, they will challenge Royse City at 1:35 p.m. on Saturday. Royse City will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
