The Antelope Titans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Del Oro Golden Eagles 86-50. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.
Antelope was led to victory by Malichai Brown and Jah'Morris Shakur. Brown went 5 of 8 en route to 17 points along with six assists and six steals, while Shakur went 8 for 14 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds. Brown has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin Mitchell, who made all 6 shots he took to post 12 points.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Antelope was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Del Oro only racked up six assists.
Del Oro's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Galer, who posted 12 points and five boards, and Brenden Hawkins, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Yarnes, who put up six points and five boards.
Antelope pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Del Oro, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
