Northern Plains (8 Man) Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Jeremiah Miller Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Jeremiah Miller produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lincoln to the win on Friday. Miller threw for 409 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 3.4 passing touchdowns per game. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.
Rock Hills's probably not too fond of Miller given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Miller saw the Grizzlies), he rushed for 37 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Cooper Mcdill's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rock Hills over Lincoln
While Cooper McDill delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Rock Hills. Lincoln had no answer to McDill as he picked up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown. McDill didn't just play on offense: he also made 12 total tackles and defended two passes.
McDill and Rock Hills will square off against Washington County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Tigers, probably because McDill had a solid game then too: he rushed for 33 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 129 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Rock Hills Gets a Boost from Ridgeway in 74-24 Loss
Keeping McDill company is Isaiah Ridgeway, a fellow Rock Hills player. He threw for 111 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble, made seven total tackles, and defended a pass.
This season, Ridgeway has thrown those 1 touchdown (and no picks) while averaging 22.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 23.6 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 123.6 rushing yards.

Xavier Miller Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Lincoln got the W thanks in part to Xavier Miller playing the best football he has all season. Miller picked up 128 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Miller must have Rock Hills's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Miller last faced the Grizzlies back in September of 2023, he picked up 138 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Gamescore: 37.38
John Mick Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, St. John's/Tipton Catholic had to settle for second even though John Mick put up the best numbers he has all season. Mick picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown.
St. John's/Tipton Catholic is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. Mick will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Thunder Ridge on Friday.
